LGBTQ+

The LGBTQ population is more than twice as likely to face mental health concerns compared to straight, cis-gendered individuals. We live in a climate where discrimination, prejudice, and harassment can be significant concerns for someone who is out. Treatment can be challenging if you do not find a therapist who has experience with diversity and understands the need to provide a specialized focus on hearing and understanding LGBTQ voices.

As an out member of the LGBTQ community who grew up in the south, J has faced challenges finding queer affirming therapists in the past and it is their passion to provide that service for others who may have also faced similar challenges finding a space where they can unabashedly be themselves.
