Highly Sensitive Persons

Maybe you’ve been in one of the following situations:

  • Told you are are too sensitive or needy

  • Felt overwhelmed by sensory input such as sound or touch

  • Easily absorbed the feelings of those around you

If these statements feel true for you then you may be a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP). HSPs sometimes struggle to form connections and have a hard time feeling understood by or safe with others. At Moonbow Mental Health we provide that space where clients feel safe to be themselves. We enjoy working with HSPs in moving toward the goal of learning how to make space for emotion in their lives without having to apologize. We love sharing the truth that there is nothing wrong with you and you don’t have to feel shame about your identity.
